- Columnist Mark Hare spotlighted one of WHG's own in a piece in the June 27, 2010, Rochester Democrat & Chronicle. The column highlighted her participation in the Upward Bound program, which helped her focus on college and career opportunities. Pursuing her Master's degree from the University of ROchester, she plans to continue her education, and hopes one day to be a school principal. Though not mentioned in the article, part of her support system has been WHG, and her mentor, Bettie Lindley.
